I went for breakfast with our kids and my sister's family. Breakfast was Awesome and clearly home made. The waitstaff was friendly and very accommodating to the little ones. I would highly recommend it if you are in town.

Went for breakfast with my mom and son while in vacation. Had a skillet and it was very good. My son had a giant chocolate chip pancake and loved it. My mom had French toast, hash browns and bacon. I'd recommend it if you are in the area.

I believe Cindy's Country Cafe is now Nora's Northwoods Cafe, but since both signs adorn the building on Three Lakes's main drag, who knows. We just call it The Purple Place, in honor of its royal purple paint job. You can't miss it. We usually hit the PP for breakfast (Neuske's bacon and hash browns, mmm), but this year we were too late and got lunch instead. I heard good things from my lunchmates about the turkey club and bacon cheeseburger, and I went with the grilled cheese. Extremely creamy and melty, it came standard with bacon and tomato. I also got the Brew City fries, which had a crispy beer-batter coating and creamy centers. Definitely the perfect meal for my occasionally senior-citizen-leaning tastes. I definitely prefer this place for breakfast, but was fine with my lunch. Vegetarians beware, though - your choices for lunch are going to be a salad or the grilled cheese sans bacon. Vegans might want to try their luck elsewhere.

A Belgian waffle from heaven .... I am pretty sure you cannot get a better one! Charming cafe just south of the downtown ... you cannot miss it .... it's purple.
